Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data AXIOM: Orígenes (“the game”, “we”) processes, why, and what rights you have. We follow Colombia’s data-protection law (Ley 1581 de 2012, Habeas Data).

1. Data we collect

  • Account: the username and email you provide when signing up.
  • Password: stored hashed (bcrypt with salt). We never store or can see your real password.
  • IP address: we record the IP and date/time of your accesses (sign-up and logins) to run the server, prevent abuse (connection limits) and prevent ban evasion. We keep an access log for security purposes.
  • Terms acceptance: we store the date and version of the Terms and this Policy you accept when signing up, as proof of your consent.
  • Chat messages: the messages you write in the in-game chat are kept for one (1) day in a server file, solely to handle reports and moderate behaviour (insults, harassment, cheating). After that period they are deleted automatically.
  • Sanctions: if an account is suspended or muted, we store the date, duration and reason.
  • Game progress: faction, ships, resources, missions, position and stats tied to your account.

We do not request sensitive data or payment information. Donations (if any) are handled on the relevant external platform; we never receive or store your banking details.

2. How we use it

  • Create and maintain your account and progress.
  • Run the multiplayer game (sync the world between players).
  • Protect the service against abuse and fraud.
  • Contact you about your account or important service changes.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.

3. Retention

We keep your account data while the account is active. If you request account deletion, we remove it together with its progress. Access logs and IP addresses are kept only as long as needed for security, and chat messages for one day only.

4. Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. The connection to the server is encrypted (TLS) in the public version. Still, no system is fully infallible; please use a unique password.

5. Your rights

You may request to access, correct, update or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, by emailing our contact address.

6. Minors

The game is intended for people aged 14 or older. Anyone younger needs consent from a responsible adult to use the service.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version will be posted on this page with its date.
