Until now you could change how your hull looks. From today you can also change how your shots look and the flame of your engines.
Where to find them
In the station shop, the designs tab now splits into three: Ship designs, Bullet designs and Engine designs. The preview fires and accelerates live, so you see the design in motion before you pay for it.

What you need to know
- They belong to your account: buy once and they work on all your ships, the ones you have and the ones you buy later.
- They can only be changed while docked, at the station.
- Other players see them. Your design is your signature in battle.
- They are purely cosmetic. Damage, speed, range and thrust stay those of your weapon and your engine. The colour stays your faction’s.
Elite enemies carry their own
From level 16, elite pilots fire with a design of their own: the Coalition with Photon Needle, Axios with Solar Drop and the Custodians with Prismatic Shard. Bosses fire Pulse Ring.
It is useful beyond looking good: if you see one of those shots coming, you know what is in front of you is no ordinary pilot.
And the flames where they belong
The whole fleet — standard ships and their shop designs — gets new models, and the flames now come out of each hull’s real nozzles. The Axios Frigate, for instance, pushes with a single large engine.
