Two new hull sets arrive, one per faction, with a design for every ship class: Aegis for the Coalition and Eclipse for Axios. A chrome finish, and one rule that sets them apart from everything else: they can’t be bought.
Where to get them
| Class | Where it drops | Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Fighter | Zeta System incursion | 4% |
| Gunship | Alcyone Veil incursion | 4% |
| Corvette | Earendel incursion, or a comet | 4% |
| Frigate | Crucible incursion, or a full guardian base | 4% / 3% |
| Cruiser | The Leviathan, Vorax or Xenobor | 4% |
- It’s always your faction’s: Aegis if you fly with the Coalition, Eclipse if you fly with Axios.
- For comets, bases and bosses, the roll goes to the pilots who get paid from the damage share. A comet rolls once for the whole comet, not once per piece.
- A guardian base counts when its core falls, meaning when you’ve destroyed all of it. Open-world bases only: the base at the end of an incursion already has the incursion’s own roll.
- If you already have it, it won’t drop again.
How to use them
A premium design works like any hull design: it changes the look, not the stats, and you equip it in the hangar. If you get one for a ship you don’t own yet, it stays on your account until you do.
A note if you already own designs
- Incursions no longer drop the Vanguard and Shadow designs. They now drop the premium ones, and at a higher chance: from 3% to 4%.
- Vanguard and Shadow are still in the shop for Elisium, as always.
- What you have stays yours: designs you earned before remain on your account.
- The Threshold Fighter still comes only from the Anomaly, also at 4%.
