The fleet you fly out of the hangar has been rebuilt from the ground up. Five classes for each side — fighter, gunship, corvette, frigate and cruiser — each with its own hull, and for the first time the two factions don’t share a single silhouette.

Two ways to build a warship

The Coalition flies steel: angular hulls with clean lines, a visible cockpit and engines burning blue. You know one at a distance by the discipline of its shapes.

Axios builds something else entirely. Their hulls are black and almost organic, veins glowing red underneath and no cockpit in sight. They look like there is something alive under the plating.

Side by side they have nothing in common, and that is the point: in the middle of a fight, what is coming at you reads by its shape long before you check the colour of its marker.

The old hulls are still flying

The previous ten designs have not been retired. They are now the earlier generation, and the ones flying them are the Custodians.

That changes something real out on the front. Until now a Custodian Tracker had exactly the same hull as your own fighter, and telling friend from foe meant reading the name or checking the marker. From now on the silhouette is a reliable clue again: if it belongs to the earlier generation, it is not one of yours.

It also fits what the game has always told you: both factions learned to build warships by copying the wreckage of the Custody Network. The Custodian is the original; your ship is the copy — and the copy has now moved on by itself.

The Vanguard and Shadow store designs are exactly where they were, and they are still those classic hulls. If you liked how your ship used to look, buying one is how you keep it.

None of this touches the balance

The first question anyone with flight hours will ask: not one combat rule has changed.

Hull points and armour per class unchanged
Weapon and module slots unchanged
Nexite and Elisium prices unchanged
Ranges and target size unchanged

Your ship does what it did yesterday and costs what it cost yesterday. The only thing that has changed is how it looks — yours and the one across from you.

Where to see them

In the hangar, when you switch ships: the viewer shows each one whole and turning, with its weapons mounted. And in the store, where every class gets a new card.

You will also notice it on the front without looking for it: the moment two squadrons from opposite sides cross paths, the difference tells itself.
