The two hull sets in the store — Vanguard for the Coalition and Shadow for Axios — have been rebuilt from scratch. All five classes on each side, from fighter to cruiser, now fly a different ship from the one they had.
What you see
Vanguard flies pale steel with its edges lit in blue: clean lines, a pronounced canopy, the silhouette you expect from a regular fleet. Shadow goes the other way, bone-white hull with glyphs burning red along the seams. Put one beside the other and you don’t need to read the name to know whose is whose.
The step between classes reads more clearly than before: the fighter is a single-seat wedge, the gunship grows across the beam, the corvette and the frigate stretch the hull out, and the cruiser spans the whole hangar.
What doesn’t change
A design has never touched how the game plays, and it still doesn’t. Hull points, armour, evasion, weapon slots and the size you get shot at are set by the ship’s class, not by its hull. A Shadow Fighter and a Vanguard Fighter fight exactly the same.
Price, name and store order don’t change either:
| Weapon slots | |
|---|---|
| Fighter | 3 |
| Gunship | 4 |
| Corvette | 6 |
| Frigate | 6 |
| Cruiser | 8 |
If you already owned one
You lose nothing and there’s nothing to do. Any design already on your account is still there, under the same name, and next time you log in you’ll see it with the new hull — worn, if it was the one you had equipped. No need to buy it or equip it again.
It’s the best moment to look at them: the ship in the middle of your hangar is yours, so you can dock and try designs on to see how each one sits before you launch.
